How-to: Switching from Verizon phone to Alltel phone?

I was an Alltel customer, and I had a Blackberry Curve 8330. I had to switch to Verizon, and I got a Storm. I'd like to Switch-Back to my curve for awhile. Can I do this on my own, or do I have to go to the Verizon store? Or is it possible? If I can do it, please tell me how. Thanks! Please...
